Research Supporting Homeschooling

The Homeschool Legal Defense Association is no stranger to the homeschool community. On the other hand solid research on homeschool statistics and outcomes is incredibly hard to come by. So when I found out that the HSLDA had commissioned a study on homeschool education including family dynamics and overall education achievements I was excited to read the results. You can read the Homeschool Progress Report 2009: Academic Achievement and Demographics here. The study was performed in the Spring of 2008 by Dr. Brian D. Ray of the National Home Education Research Institute.


Thank you Dr. Ray and the HSLDA for commissioning and publishing a thorough study that shows exactly what us homeschool parents already know; homeschooling is the best hands down for a child's education.
